Whispering Hill Farm
...where color is truly a bonus!
Well, this winter did us in and proved, beyond a doubt that we HAVE to cut down on the number of horses we keep. Watching my husband dig up the water line 7 times and filling countless buckets at the sink shouted clearly to me that "WE ARE TOO OLD FOR THIS!" So it is with very great sadness (and even some tears) that I am putting ALL the horses up for sale. It doesn't mean that we plan to sell everything right now, but we MUST get down to half at least. If you might be looking for our "best"..........here they are, I've tried to make the prices as reasonable as I could, but remember, these are the ones that I worked so hard over 30 years to get.........

California is big and beautiful with an excellent disposition. She has been shown so much that nothing seems to bother her. She clips, bathes, hauls, loads, stands well for the farrier, ties, etc. This mare is really "solid" under saddle without any bad habits. She's very well broke and although she's been shown hunt seat, she seems to have a lot of potential as a Western horse.
California has been shown extensively in halter by both professionals and amateurs and has only been out of the ribbons once. She knows her job and her conformation speaks for itself.
California was bred for a 2013 foal and had a gorgeous chestnut filly. California followed in her sisters footsteps of being an outstanding "mother" and producing exceptionally well.
Here is a show horse and a future breeding mare that I really wish I didn't have to sell, but she has too much to offer someone just to stand around here and "look beautiful". California is double registered as a Pinto and Half-Arabian and is also eligible for registration as a National Show Horse. $8,500.00
Sierra Dazzlin Pearl is a wonderful big perlino paint mare. She is a tobiano although it is difficult to see her markings. Outstanding producer. Easy to handle, no bad habits, fantastic mother. Dam of Bucky, Daisy, Lily, Gem, and Rider........she is an outstanding mother and her babies are tall and correct and real "doing" beauties. She has been broke to ride although we just use her as a broodmare.
Sorry, but Donald said "NO Sale" to this one!
